Who are we, what do we do and what can we offer you?
The Experience Passport Ltd was founded in the autumn of 2018. A business which promises on providing unforgettable experiences at unbeatable prices. Two main focuses make up The Experience Passport:
The Scottish Fishing Passport has been designed and developed by Scott Mason along with input from many fishery managers and anglers throughout not only Scotland but the rest of the UK. Many of you will know Scott from his work within the Fisheries Management sector for the previous 8 years. Scott has an exhaustive list of contacts many of which have played a part in the development of this project. A similarity to syndicate fishing the Scottish Fishing Passport will give members the opportunity to fish many of the countries best rivers and lochs, all while keeping things affordable.
Our Experience Packages have been developed to suit everyone. Here at The Experience Passport we pride ourselves in what we do. We offer private hosted trips where your party will be the sole focus of our guide or if you just want a hassle free experience let us do all the booking for you and draw up the perfect itinerary for you and your party to explore on your own. So whether you are visiting Scotland on holiday or are a resident of this wonderful country we have something for you. Thrills and spills of horse racing in the Scottish Borders, whisky tasting in Speyside or city adventures we have it all. We promise to give you an awe inspiring day where photo opportunities will be by the dozen and memories will last a life time, without breaking the bank. If your ideal experience isn’t listed, use the contact form to tell us and we will be sure to try build something that is perfect for you.
The Scottish Fishing Passport has been developed to ensure salmon fishing in Scotland remains affordable and is available to all, which is why The Scottish Fishing Passport is one of only a few places to offer a direct debit option.
Fishing has been secured throughout Scotland on various locations, stretching from the far north down to the Scottish Borders. All Scottish Fishing Passport beats are on at a different level. Some beats have rods available every day while others have fishing available every week, two weeks or monthly. The flexability of the business allows us to change locations throughout the season to suit the river and conditions, some fisheries providing spring fishing with others providing summer and back end availability.
A national fishing permit is available in other countries throughout the world so why should Scotland not have one! We know that we have some of the best fishing in the world available right on our doorstep so we believe this really must be showcased.
How The Passport Works
At a short time after subscription to The Scottish Fishing Passport you will receive a welcome letter which will include your photographic identification card along with advice on how best to work your passport.
Members are limited to only holding two booked days in their account at any one time, further fishing will not be able to be retained until your account has 1 or 0 booked days. This maintains fairness towards booking and means a person cannot book all the rods in one location at one time.
Bookings can be made up to 48hours prior to the selected date. Most locations have two rods available.
Cancelation of booked fishing days can be made at a minimum of 24hours notice through the website or by email.
Booking of fishing is on a first come first serve basis. With the booking condition set that only two booked days in your account at any one time, this gives members a fair and realistic approach of booking the fishing available on the passport.
However as there is only a limited number of rods available on the passport at any one time there is no guarantee you will get your desired date, however in this situation we would encourage our members to contact us as we may be able to secure more fishing in the desired location.
There are 3 options available to our members. A one of payment that allows membership until 31st October, a monthly payment option until the 31st October that allows costs to be spread and a part season option where members can choose to fish the spring summer or backend. NO further payments are required to secure any fishing with us through the Scottish Fishing Passport
As the season progresses so will the journey of The Scottish Fishing Passport. We welcome our members to highlight which rivers, beats or fisheries they would like to be included in The Scottish Fishing Passport and this can be done through our contact section.
This really is only the beginning…
